CCI Announces Grand Opening of Nova River District in Rome, Georgia

CCI Real Estate, a real estate investment company centered on missional impact and community transformation, announced today the grand opening of Nova River District, a 250 residence, mixed-use community in downtown Rome, Georgia. Construction on the project is 90% complete, with some interior work remaining on one wing of the building.

Since opening the leasing office, 60% of currently available units have been leased, with first residents moving in over the summer. Looking ahead, over 30% of the 250 total units have already been leased in advance of construction completion. A huge turnout gathered in support of Nova River District to celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and a ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted by the Rome Floyd Chamber and city/county officials on the same day.

Nova River District is located in an ideal spot on the AdventHealth ECO Greenway, nestled between West 3rd Street and the Oostanaula River across from historic Broad Street. As a complex redevelopment of what was originally 13 parcels, the cohesive community of Nova River District provides 178 one-bedroom and 64 two-bedroom apartments, as well as nearly 10,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Nova River District’s amenities are centered around wellness, recreation and social spaces, and include a heated saltwater pool, a fitness and wellness center, two elevated sundecks, two recreation courtyards and a future on-site coffee shop. There are local dining options, additional retail, several grocery stores, schools and medical facilities all within a few blocks from the property.

Gallery Residential is overseeing property management for Nova River District, led by community director Caley Pinson.

Additional partners in the development of Nova River District include Poole & Poole Architecture as the architect; True North Companies as the general contractor; Focus Design Interiors, Inc. as the interior designer; Davis & Church, LLC as the structural engineer; Phillips Gradick Engineering, PC as the MEP engineer; and Dovetail Civil Design, Inc. as the civil engineer.
